La Ceremonia

Our wedding ceremony was a mix of cultures and again, many suprises. Don Carmine wore an Orthodox stole (epitrachelion) and led a different kind of procession where he went down the aisle with incense just like the Greek priest did at our Greek wedding. We had a unity candle which was an American import. And, we did not have the traditional Catholic mass for our wedding as I could not take communion. Instead we had many many blessings...
